I didn't know Betty well, but we had gotten together with Aunt Bonnie a few years back and talked about family history. She was very helpful and such a lovely lady.

Aunt Bette, our family here in Washington will miss you and your smiling, warm personality. Over the past 45 years I especially enjoyed experiencing your fabulous relationship with mother Shirley. One of my fondest memories will always be our Ferry trip for lunch in Poulsbo. Me taking photos as usual and you, Georgia and Shirley going in and out of every little shop on the island. You were like a kid in a candy store. Unlike Georgia, I can wait to see you on the other side, so don't plan a party for me just yet. Love, Sandy

I admired Bette sooo much! I groomed her dogs for years and actually still have one of her cats. I think of Bette now with her Schnauzer Pepper and it makes me smile. She was a very elegant woman.

It doesn't seem real that you are not here, but I know you are already enjoying Grandpa and Grandma on the other side. I always remember you taking me to my first dress up movie in Dayton, Oh. We took the bus downtown and I felt very grown up. I loved the summer I spent with you when I was 12 and how you taught me to shave my legs sitting on the bathtub. I miss you and love you dearly. Can't wait to be reunited when it is my turn to crossover. See you there! Love you, Georgia xoxoxo

Bette and the ladies from Hermans and Fantles would meet for coffee at Hardees. All the ladies were so much fun to chat with and when they met they'd sit at the back corner table and get to laughing about things .They were special ladies and Bette had a smile and eyes that made her stand out from the others. She was a very pretty ladie.
