I am saddened to hear of Eileen's passing. She was such a special lady. I enjoyed seeing her everyday when I was employed at Bickford Cottage. She never hesitated to let me know when a food item was exceptionally good (or bad for that matter!) May her memory forever live in your hearts!!!

We are in Texas for the winter and have not kept up with the TR very well. Was surprised to see this obit. Isn't it odd that she and Evelyn would go so close together. Maybe they can begin walking together again? Nice to think so. They used to enjoy each other's company so much. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you.

I have such admiration and love for Eileen and the incredible family she and Leo raised. How blessed to have had the chance to know her - thank you all for that! I'm not sure if you knew this, but Eileen was one of 3 residents who took part in my initial job interview for the Activity Director position. I'd like to think that her approval, along with her two counterparts, were a substantial part of my being offered the job. I will be forever grateful for her positive outlook and smile to greet every day. She is a true inspiration to pattern one's life after, I will miss her greatly!

You were, and continue to be, my hero, and I am grateful for the time we were able to spend talking, laughing, and enjoying one another's company on Christmas Eve. While I will miss you dearly, I can see you in my minds eye walking hand in hand with Grandpa, in grassy fields, catching up on the past 40 odd years, and that gives me peace. I love you, Grandma, and I'll see youa gain one day.
