Beulah Baskerville, 91, of Marshalltown, Iowa passed away on Saturday, November 14, 2015, at the Hawkeye Care Center in Marshalltown, Iowa. Funeral services will be held at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, November 21, 2015 at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Marshalltown, Iowa. Visitation will be from 2:30 until service time at 3:30 p.m. Memorials may be directed to the family to be designated at a later date in a fitting tribute to Beulah. Beulah Darlene Krohn was born on August 22, 1924 in Fonda, Iowa; she was the daughter of Henry and Ethel (Darling) Krohn. She attended school in the Fonda School District. On November 1, 1942 Beulah was united in marriage to Luvern Baskerville at St Johns Lutheran Church in Lytton, Iowa, a church she was baptized and confirmed in also. They had lived in Lytton, Estherville, Marshalltown, and Clear Lake and then returned to Marshalltown to be near their sons. Beulah loved and played the piano and organ, always playing for churches, wherever they lived, was always in choirs, played for Full Life Ministry, and for ventriloquist and entertainer, Bev. They had wintered 23 years in Arizona and she played for the retirement resort. She enjoyed sewing and cooking and anything chocolate. Beulah had been a member of the Gideons. Left to cherish her memory are her children, Marlene (Kenneth) Shadle of Mason City, Iowa, Lester (Ginny) Baskerville of Kellogg, daughter-in-law, Linda Baskerville of Mason City, Bruce ( Pam) Baskerville of West Des Moines and Jim (Deb) Baskerville of Marshalltown, Iowa; 16 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren and one great great grandson; siblings, Henry (Janice) Krohn Jr. of Waukee, IA, Arla (Milton) Dahlene of Massachusetts, and many nieces and nephews. In death Beulah rejoins her parents, Henry and Ethel; husband, Luvern; son, Warren; great-grandson, Spencer; and siblings: Willard, Velma, Marvin, Claus, Nina, Marion, Betty, and Erma.
