Clifford Haskell, 99, of Marshalltown, Iowa passed away on Monday, January 5, 2015, at home surrounded by his family and under the care of Hospice Home Care of Ames, Iowa. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, January 9, 2015, at the Mitchell Family Funeral Home in Marshalltown. Visitation will from 9:30 to 11:00 at the funeral home on Friday. He was the son of Robert William Haskell and Carolina (Stull) Haskell; he attended school in the Garwin School District. Clifford was united in marriage to Alice Hauser February 14, 1941, in Missouri; they were married for 19 years before she passed away. He then was united in marriage to Joylayne Cox on July 8, 1962, in Eldora, Iowa at the Assembly of God Church. Clifford had worked for the State of Iowa D.O.T. and retired after 29 years of service. He enjoyed fishing and in his younger years building a 16 ft. boat in his garage, model airplanes; he played the fiddle and loved his family. He was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Marshalltown, Iowa Left to cherish Cliffords memory is his wife of 52 years Joylayne of Marshalltown, children: James Robert (Joan) Haskell of State Center, Carol Jean( Buster) Ray of Albion, Tammie Joy Haskell(Al-Jenfawi) and Terry Melvin(Ann) Haskell of Marshalltown, Iowa, 13grandchildren and18 great grandchildren and 16 great-great-grandchildren. Clifford was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Carolina, his first wife, Alice, brothers, Charles and Ora Haskell and sister, Susan Cory
