David Weatherly, 53, of Pleasantville, died Thursday, July 1, 2010, at University of Iowa Hospital.Cremation rites have been accorded. There will be no funeral services or visitation. He was the son of Ernest and Grace (Shepard) Weatherly. He earned his GED and served our country honorably in the United States Marine Corps. He had lived in Pleasantville for the last 10 years.David was a temporary laborer. He had been most recently employed at Deldon Garage Doors. He enjoyed fishing, playing handheld games, and was a good handyman.Surviving David are his three children Levi Weatherly of Melcher-Dallas, Hillery Weatherly of Des Moines, and Staci Weatherly of Minnesota; his significant other Janice Cribb of Pleasantville; and his sister Patricia (Marvin) Lister of Yuma, Arizona.In death he rejoins his parents.
