Delores A Brafford, 80, of Marshalltown, passed away on Saturday, September 28, 2024 at Allen Hospital-Unity Point Health in Waterloo.

Delores A Wright was born on October 24, 1943 to Kenneth and Juanita (Query) Wright in Chariton, Iowa. Delores graduated from Russell High School. In 1966, she was united in marriage to William Russell Brafford. Delores worked for the Marshalltown School District administration as a secretary and retired in 2001. She was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution and volunteered her time at the Caring Center. Delores enjoyed quilting and sewing. She was a loving wife, mother and great grandmother and always loved spending time with her family.

Delores is survived by her children: Jeffrey Brafford of Marshalltown and Ryan (Twila) Brafford of Ames. Grandchildren: Kate Weave, Joshua Brafford, Danny Dudley, Walker Poole, Dana Mueller, Josh Sanford, Joel Boyer and Jennifer Conner. Great grandchildren: Phoenix Weave, Kingston Dudley, Ashlyn Sanford, Easton Sanford, Ezra Conner and Ozzy Conner. She is also survived by her brother: Ronnie Wright and niece: Shelly Weiss.

Delores is preceded in death by her husband: William; parents: Kenneth and Juanita and her sister: Jenny Shaw.
