Diana Hulbert

Diana Hulbert, age 76, of Marshalltown, passed away Saturday, March 25th, at the Iowa River Hospice Home with family at her side.

Born on July 28th, 1946, in Newton, Iowa, she was the daughter of Clinton Day and Arlene (Nessler) Birchard. She graduated from West Union High School in 1964.

Diana had a strong work ethic and many times worked multiple jobs. Many would remember her from Wal-Mart, Wolfe Eye Clinic or the Marshalltown Hospital. She had a love of family and attending her grandchildren’s events. Following her visitation on Monday, her family will be traveling to Georgia to attend her grandson’s military graduation. Though she won’t physically be there, she will be present in spirit and love.

Diana never met a stranger. She was a social butterfly who enjoyed frequent lunches and activities with her friends. She liked watching QVC and craft shows and loved having everyone together for Christmas.

Left to cherish her memory are her three children- Sheri Hulbert, Kristy Hulbert and Justin (Jodi) Hulbert; grandchildren- Preston, Nathan, Emersyn and Sam and many other family and friends.

In death, she rejoined her parents and step-father Raymond Crowder.
