Dolores Shaver

Dee Shaver, 89, of Marshalltown, Iowa passed away on November 29, 2016 at the Iowa River Hospice Home in Marshalltown. Dolores Jean Edler was born on July 12, 1927 in Marshalltown to John and Hilda (Pfantz) Edler. On September 30, 1951, she was united in marriage to Herbert Guy Shaver. Left to cherish her memory are children Lane Shaver (Diane Williamson) of Madrid, Iowa and Kathleen Shaver Spanjer (David Brown) of Crete, Nebraska; grandchildren Jonah Shaver, Carter Shaver, Kelsey Drexel, Blake Spanjer, Lisa (Williamson) Eccles and Dustin Williamson; great-grandchildren, Kenyan Drexel, Colton Eccles and Cody Eccles; sister Dorothy Blood of State Center and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Memorial services will be held at Our Savior Lutheran Church in Marshalltown on Saturday, December 10 @ 10:30 am.
