Los que Fernando dejó para llevar su recuerdo en su corazón son su esposa, Antonia Vega; hijos, Fernando (Leticia) Garcia Vega de Denison, Iowa, Mayre (Kedwin) Garcia Vega de Denison, Iowa, Sayra Rocio (Osmel) Garcia Vega de Mundelein, Illinois, y Norma Garcia de Des Moines, Iowa; 18 nietos y hermanos, Gilberto (Rosa) Garcia Neave de Colorado, Casiana Garcia Neave de Nieves Zacatecas, Mexico, Antonia (Arnulfo) Castañeda de Washington, Iowa y Ernesto (Maria) Aguilera de Gilman, Iowa.
