Henry “Hank” Charles Seiler of Hampton, formerly of Marshalltown, passed away on Monday, January 8, 2018 at Mercy Medical Center in Mason City.  Funeral Mass for Hank will be held on Friday, January 12, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. at St Mary’s Catholic Church in Marshalltown with burial to follow at Riverside Cemetery. Visitation will be on Thursday, January 11, 2018 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. with a scripture service to follow at the Mitchell Family Funeral Home in Marshalltown. Mitchell Family Funeral Home is caring for Hank and his family.  Henry C. Seiler was born on July 25, 1936 in Algona, Iowa to Julius and Catherine Downs Seiler. Hank was raised and educated in the Algona School District. He served his country honorably in the United States Army in Korea. On November 25, 1961, Hank was united in marriage to Berniece Smith in Algona. He had been retired from cattle buying. Hank was a member of the Knights of Columbus and the Marshalltown Wrestling Club, which he founded back in 1975. He enjoyed gardening, wood crafts and hunting as long as it included his family. Hank’s greatest joy was spending time with his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Hank is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Berniece. Children: Sherri (Shannon) Logan of Hampton, Henry J. (Deanna Tough) Seiler of Albion, Vicki (Ron) Anderson of Conrad and Cindi (David) Morgan of Union. Grandchildren: Jordan, Casey, Meagan, Kristine, Claire, Colin, Emily, Elizabeth and Quinn as well as his step grandchildren, Ty and Bailey. He is also survived by great grandchildren, Izabell, Lilly, Lyla, Calvin Henry and one on the way in July as well as siblings Mike Seiler, Jerry (Barb) Seiler, Linda (Rich) Wahlert and was a favorite uncle to numerous nieces and nephews.  Hank is preceded in death by his parents, Julius and Catherine, sisters, Jean Marie and Marilyn, grandsons, Jacob and baby Anderson as well as his in-laws Lawrence and Bridget Smith.
