James Jim Robinson, 59, of Albion, died Friday, May 6, at his home. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 11, at the Mitchell Family Funeral Home. Born on September 4, 1951, in Marshalltown, he was the son of William and Helen (Hoff) Robinson. He graduated from the Marshalltown High School and attended the Marshalltown Junior College.Jim was an avid sportsman and was a life member of the Marshall County Gun Club, Story County Pheasants Forever and was a past member of the Central Iowa Coon Hunters Association. He enjoyed camping, spending time with his friends and anything dealing with hunting, fishing, camping and the outdoors. Jim was a former Marshall County Deputy Sheriff and most recently owned Robinson Backhoe Service.He is survived by cousins and his own special family of treasured friends and his cat. In death, he rejoined his parents.
