Jane Ann Jeffreys (70) passed away in the care of Iowa River Hospice on December 14, 2015, in Marshalltown, Iowa. A private family graveside will be held. Jane Ann Rose was born on July 31st, 1945, to Boyd and Helen (Mahnke) Rose, in Toledo, Iowa. She was raised and educated in Des Moines, Iowa, graduating from East High School in 1963. Following her high school graduation, she attended AIB in Des Moines, as well as a nursing school in California. Jane was employed as a legal secretary for the law offices of Hopkins and Heubner for 9 years, until her retirement in 2012. She was an avid and gifted quilter. Jane loved NASCAR, spending time with her family, lunches and visits with friends and family. She also loved to read. Left to cherish her memory is her daughter-in-law; Christine Jeffreys of Raleigh, North Carolina, grandchildren; Joseph Keegan Jeffreys of Raleigh, North Carolina, and many other cousins and relatives. In death she rejoins her parents; Boyd and Helen Rose, son; Todd Michael Jeffreys, Brother; Harry Flynn.
