Jean Marie Iverson

Jean Marie Iverson, 70, of the Villa del Sol, died Tuesday, January 31, 2011. Services for Jean Marie will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, February 8, at the Mitchell Family Funeral Home. Visitation for Jean Marie will be held from 12:00 p.m. until time of service at the funeral home. Burial will take place at a later date at the Liberty Cemetery by Calumet. Jean Marie was born October 10, 1941, in Fairfax, Minnesota, the daughter of Charles and Bernice (Butler) Hellendrung. She was raised and educated in the Fairfax, Minnesota area until moving to Dysart, Marshalltown, Union, Dubuque then returning to the Marshalltown, Iowa area to be close to her family. Jean Marie enjoyed crafts both making and selling ear rings, necklaces and ornaments. Jean Marie also enjoyed riding motorcycles and bird watching and especially loved animals. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Jean Marie is survived by her life Companion LaVerne Rehder of Union, her son David (Lois) Iverson of Conrad, her adopted son Daryl Carmer of Marshalltown, Tom Rehder of Eau Claire, Wisconsin and Julie Weiner of Lincoln, Nebraska, her grandchildren: Nicole Neko and LaChelle, Morgan, Beth, Toby, Zackery, Benjamin, her step grandkids: Shannon, Jason, Travis, her great grandson Conner, and her step great grandchildren, her brothers: Bob (Jan) Hellendrung of Edgerton, Wisconsin, Richard (Sandy) Hellendrung of Fairfax, Minnesota, and Don (Jan) Hellendrung of New Ulm, Minnesota, her nephews: Scott (Jen) Hellendrung, Ross (Julie) Hellendrung, Chuck (Denise) Hellendrung, Matt and Tim (Peggy) Hellendrung, her niece Sarah (Jason) Hanson and her brother-in-law Dalton (Florence) Rehder. Jean Marie was preceded in death by her parents, her daughter Kim Marie, her brother-in-law Leonard Rehder and several cousins.
