Julie (Tupker) DoBraska was born January 22, 1965, in Des Moines, Iowa. She was the daughter of Howard and Eva (Faaborg) Tupker. Julie attended school in the Eldora School District and later went on to attend college. Soon after, she joined the work force and held various positions. Julie was once a record store clerk and she also worked for JBS Swift and Co. for many years in the accounting and payroll departments. She really enjoyed spending time with the pastor from St. Paul Lutheran Church in Eldora studying the bible and receiving communion. Julie loved to spend time with her family when able to do so and especially time with her grandkids and great grandkids. She loved rock music (when she was still physically able to, Julie and her daughter Desiree attended many concerts together).

She is survived by her mother Eva, her daughter Desiree Carmer, her grandchildren: Hailie Kristina Davis, Mistry Kae Ellen Carmer, Damien Austin-Mykal Carmer, Charydin Faith Carmer, and Kiylah Monae-Nakia (DoBraska) Davis, her great-grandchildren: Oaklynn Elizabeth Fry-Carmer and Ryker Allen Joel Sanchez, and her brother Allen Tupker of Marion, Iowa.

Julie is preceded in death by her grandparents, her father Howard, her grandson Eliyjah Kaedin-Mykal DoBraska, her son-in-law Allen Carmer, her nephew Robert Edward Tupker, her uncle Arnold Faaborg, her aunts Christina Hess and Selma Payne, and her sister-in-law Julie Ann Tupker.
