Labreka Danielle Kumika Dorsey-Haynes (more affectionately known as Pooh), 29, of Marshalltown died Monday, June 21st, 2010 at her home. A celebration of Brekas life will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, June 28th at the Austin Layne Mortuary, located at 7239 W. Florissant Ave. in Jennings, MO, phone 314-381-6900. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Friday, June 25th at the Mitchell Family Funeral Home in Marshalltown. She will be laid to rest in Calvary Cemetery in St. Louis, MO. Memorials may be directed to Brekas family. For condolences, please visit www.mitchellfh.com. Breka was born in St. Louis on February 19th, 1981 to parents Eddie Dorsey and Judy (McNeece) Smith. At an early age, Breka was baptized and became a member of Second Baptist Church in Marshalltown. Breka graduated from Marshalltown High School in 1997. She then attended Marshalltown Community College, graduating from their nursing program. Breka was an RN at the Marshalltown Medical and Surgical Center. On May 11th, 2008 Breka was united in marriage to Marques Haynes. The couple made their home in Marshalltown, along with their four children. Breka was a loving wife, mother, and nurse. She loved time with her family, cooking, reading, and shopping. Breka will be deeply missed by all who knew and continue to love her. Left to celebrate Brekas life and cherish her memory is her husband Marques; her children: Marquis, Malik, Jordan and Jayla; her brothers and sisters: Robert (Myra) Smith, Levern (Andre) Smith, Obediah (Tonia) Smith, Prince (David) Thomas, Gene Smith, Bobby Smith, Dannette (Kenneth) Patton, Lisa Smith, Rita Smith, Temiko Holmes, and Jessie (Veness) Miller; her many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, and her very dear friend Deja (Quand) Archie. In death, Breka has rejoined her parents and two brothers: Eddie Sanders and Christopher Smith.
