Born on September 9th, 1986, in Marshalltown, Michael was the son of David and Karen (Wolf) Cary. God truly sent him to these young parents to enrich their lives with laughter, challenges and love. He left this world a much better place for living in it.
Michael was a 2006 graduate of Marshalltown High School and a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church. His contagious smile touched countless souls and being able to ride any vehicle was a highlight of the day. His uncles- “Funcles, or fun-uncles” made sure he had rides to the fields, in their trucks or cars and were at his side to enjoy the trips as well. He loved all kinds of music and the louder the better, being in the workshop with dad, cooking on his Blackstone, cheering on ISU, gardening and going to daily events on People Ride.
Left to cherish his memory are his mom and dad, David and Karen; his grandma Ardis Wolf, uncles Steve Cary, David Wolf (Sandi) and Jim (Kim) Wolf, his aunt Pam Morris, his best friend who was his first Christmas present from his parents- Newt the Bear, numerous cousins, his family at CIRSI and several friends.
He was greeted with open arms at heaven’s gate by grandpa Richard Wolf, grandma Eva Cary, grandpa Lloyd “Sport” Cary, aunt Linda Cary, uncle Kevin Cary as well as other family and friends.
