Peggy Joan Hibbs was born January 3, 1953 to parents Berle and Louretta (Paul) Hibbs in Grinnell, Iowa. She grew up in the Lynnville and Haverhill communities. Peggy attended school in Marshalltown and later graduated from Marshalltown High School in 1972.

On April 6, 1983, she was united in marriage to Rollie Grady. Together they made a home in Melbourne, Iowa and raised their three children, Jessica, Jon, and Andrea. Peggy became a familiar face in Marshalltown not only for her connections with all her friends but through working at Strands for numerous years and then for Lennox Industries in Marshalltown retiring in 2014. In addition, she was a member of the Laurel Community Church.

In Peggy’s free time, her family was her number one. She loved to spend time with her kids and grandkids and she attended all of the school activities that she was able to make it to. In addition, she enjoyed playing cards, spending time in nature, cheering on the Iowa Hawkeyes (and Cyclones as long as they were not playing together), cooking food, working on her vegetable and flower gardens, and going on four-wheeler rides with her dog Eddy.

She is survived by her children, Jessica Fisher, Jon (Jennifer) Fisher and Andrea (Jarrod) Quastad; her grandchildren, Catelyn Fisher, Grace Fisher, Luke Fisher, Ally Fisher, Nolan Fisher, Ashely Quastad and Rollie Quastad; her siblings, Phyllis Kerr and Nancy Hibbs-Good; her dog Eddy and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband Rollie; her parents Berle and Louretta Hibbs; her brother Paul Hibbs; brother-in-law, Craig Kerr; and her mother and father-in-law.
