Robert Strohm

Bobby Strohm, 44, of Marshalltown, died recently and was found in a favorite area on the north side of Marshalltown on August 11th. His recent identification has put peace in the hearts of his family who greatly appreciate the care and concern of the residents and friends of Marshalltown. Their healing can now begin. Memorial services will be announced upon the return of his sister following a family illness in Florida. They will be held at St. Marys Catholic Church where he was a baptized and confirmed member. Born Robert Gene Strohm on October 7th, 1963 in Marshalltown, he was the son of Raymond Gene and Donna (Kudelka) Strohm. He graduated from the Marshalltown High Schools Class of 1982 and then automotive school in Kansas. Bobby worked at Haleys, Riverside Cemetery, a Chevrolet Garage in Kansas City, Lennox and was most recently self-employed with Little Mans Garage. Left to mourn his loss are his children, Cecelie Marie Abrahams and Skoky Strohm of Marshalltown, his parents Ray and Donna Strohm of Marshalltown, sisters Cheryl Marie Bown of Marshalltown and Lorilee Ann Leckness of St. Petersburg, FL., as well as extended family and a host of friends. In death he has rejoined his grandparents, Jack and Dorothy Kudelka and Fred and Geneva Strohm and his brother.
