Roger Alan Fiscus

Roger Fiscus, age 65, of Marshalltown, passed away Wednesday, March 27th, 2019. A memorial service will be held on Monday, April 1, 2019 at the Mitchell Family Funeral Home at 11:00 a.m. with a public visitation held one hour prior. Memorial donations may be made to the family while a fund is being established. For condolences please visit www.Mitchellfh.com or call (641) 844-1234.           Born Roger Alan Fiscus on June 29th, 1953, in Marshalltown, he was the youngest of three children born to Delos Albert and Nola Blanche (Butler) Fiscus. Roger graduated from the West Marshall High School. After High School, he joined the United States Air Force.           He was united in marriage to Dietta “Dee” Storjohann, and even though the two later divorced, they were blessed with two beautiful daughters- Amy and Michelle.Roger was a man of strong work ethic and was employed as a machinist at Fisher Controls for 14 years and earlier at Dunham-Bush for 25 years.It was a good day when he could be on a Harley-Davidson motorcycle and tinkering in the garage. He also enjoyed radio-controlled airplanes, fishing, gardening, and racing. It was a great day when he could be with his daughters and family.                      Left to cherish his memory is his daughters- Michelle Fiscus and Amy (Ryan) Stotts; granddaughter Lillian Stotts and his faithful companion, Bella, the dog, and many cousins and friends.In death, Roger rejoined his parents, brother Richard “Dick” and sister, Sondra Bean, and the mother of his children Dietta Storjohann.
