Born on June 17, 1994, at 9:17 a.m., he was the beautiful baby boy of Richard and Tawnya (Halter) Jordan. He grew up in Marshalltown and was blessed with being near his grandparents- Gary, Janice, Jim and Sam- who played an active role in his life. He loved the farm life and time with the animals, especially Izzy the burrow. He was baptized as a baby at 1st Congregational Church, where he later enjoyed the friends and fellowship of youth group. Warm weather brought fun times at the Marshalltown Softball complex, where he could be found rollerblading and skateboarding. In 2012, he graduated from the Marshalltown High School alongside lifelong friends. He soon started school at DMACC, and it was a wild ride, to say. Being the social person he was, studies weren’t always a priority, so school got pushed aside. Ryan moved on to a very successful career with Nabisco and Hy-Vee. Ryan had a mission in life to make sure people felt they were loved and were important. He helped others without request or praise and had a very soft heart for animals. When challenges arose, a quiet time with music and meditation would ease his heart and soul. When family, friends and fun were the atmosphere, he was the center. Ryan enjoyed music, hunting, fishing, baseball, roller-skating and skateboarding, driving the tractor, going to Diamond Daves with Grandpa Gary, amusement parks, Iowa State games, hockey and his many pets- his cat Mia was nicknamed “Hippo.” Ryan was supportive, non-judgmental and even if not known by name, was known for his infectious laugh. Ryan will be greatly missed and forever loved by his mom Tawnya (Jason) Fisher of Marshalltown; his dad Rich (Andrea) Jordan of Marshalltown; siblings (by blood and by bonus): Alyssa Jordan, Grant (Carrie) Fisher, Chandler Fisher, Cassidy Fisher, Drake Fisher, Kyle Warren and Blake Warren; niece and nephew, Kennedy and Isaac Fisher; grandparents: Jim and Sam Halter of Melbourne, Janice Jordan of Marshalltown, Bill and Barb Fisher of Marshalltown and Roger and Maxine Bottema of Dysart; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends too numerous to comprehend. Also surviving is Mia, his cat. In death, Grandpa Gary Jordan met him at Heaven’s gate.
