Shannon Santee, 40, of Marshalltown passed away on Wednesday, July 3, 2013, at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City, Iowa. Shannon Santee was born on October 30, 1972 in Greeley, Colorado. He was the son of Ora Dean and Agnes Ace Marie (Hilton) Santee. Shannon worked as a welder and mechanic throughout his lifetime. Shannon had a true passion for fishing, hunting, playing darts and pool, motorcycles, and cooking. Left to cherish his memory is his children: Dominique and Layla Santee. Siblings: Melody Boyer, Vicki (Edward) Barnhart, Randi (Gilbert) Martinez, Tammy (Don) Sanchez, Melissa (Michael) Fry, Cody Santee, Christina Griego, Joe (Valarie) Griego Jr., Timmy (Elizabeth) Griego and Steven Griego. In death Shannon rejoins his parents, Ora Dean and Ace, brother, Chucky and sister, Micki.
