Sherry Roe, age 66, of Marshalltown, passed from this life early in the morning of Tuesday, September 4, 2018, at the Unity Point Health in Keokuk, Iowa. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Sunday, September 9, 2018, at the Mitchell Family Funeral Home in Marshalltown Iowa. Please dress casual in honor of Sherry. Sherry Faye Pollick was born on January 12th, 1952, in Marshalltown, Iowa; she was the daughter of John Pollick and Marjorie Morrison. Sherry received her education in the Marshalltown Public Schools. On September 29, 1978, she was united in marriage to the love of her life, Russell Roe, at their home in Marshalltown. After this time, Marshalltown was always home where she was employed at Answer Plus and later Wal-Mart for over 10 years.It was a good day if she could fish and cook. It was a great day if it included her grandchildren, Caden and Camden playing dominos! She enjoyed computer games, making her famous mac and cheese and loving up her Kesha (the dog). Sherry will be remembered for her smile and hugs. Left to cherish her memory are Russell, her loving husband of 39 years, her son Daniel (Arriel) Roe of Marshalltown, her “son” by love and choice, Brian (Amanda) Minser of Melbourne, grandchildren Caden and Camden; siblings- Sandy (Bill) Overman of Rhodes, Carla Morrison of Rhodes and Connie (Mike) Starn of Albion, as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. In death, Sherry rejoined her parents, brother Calvin and son Ronnie Schoenhut.
