Steven "Steve" Aicher

Steven “Steve” Aicher, 66, of Liscomb, Iowa, passed away on Saturday, November 10, 2018 in the comfort of his home. Following Steve’s wishes, cremation rites have been accorded and there will be a public visitation held from 2:00 – 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 18, 2018 at Mitchell Family Funeral Home where Steve’s family will be present to greet friends.  The family has requested for everyone to please dress in casual attire, as Steve loved his blue jeans and t-shirts.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed in Steve’s name to his family.  For further information or to send a condolence please visit www.mitchellfh.com or call (641) 844-1234.  Mitchell Family Funeral Home is caring for Steve and his family. Steven Aicher was born on May 18, 1952 in Iowa City, Iowa, the son of Richard “Dick” and Cora (Fagan) Aicher.  He was a high school graduate of West Branch High School, class of 1971.  Steve was united in Marriage to Deb Schiebel for nearly 30 years.  He was a hard-working man dedicating his career to Lennox Manufacturing for over 25 years before retiring in 2008. Steve had a passion for the Iowa Hawkeyes, Pittsburg Steelers, gardening as well as spending time outdoors.  His number one passion in life was the time cherished with his family and friends.  Left to cherish Steve’s memory is his wife, Deb; children: Shannon (Al) Hiner, Malynda (Travis) Aicher, Steven Luke (Letitia) Aicher and Matt (Nicole) Aicher; grandchildren: Devin, Jake, Raelynn, Jaice, Logan, Emery, Preston, Cora and Callan; one great-grandchild: Charlea Elizabeth; father: Dick Aicher; step-mother: Rita Aicher; siblings: Michelle (Jim) Kempf: one half-sister: Corrine Aicher; one half-brother: Tim; one step-sister: Donna and one step-brother: Udo; many nieces and nephews and Max, who was his four legged furry companion. He is preceded in death by his mother, Cora Aicher; two sisters: Jeannie and Linda as well as his maternal and paternal grandparents.
