Born Tammy Kay Wilson on September 3, 1968 in Eldora, Iowa, she was the daughter of James “Jim” Jr. and Jane (Aswegan) Wilson. She graduated from Union Whitten High School in 1986 and went on to attend classes at MCC and Kirkwood Community College.

Tammy began dating the love of her life, Christopher “Chris” Morrison on February 3, 1990, and the two were united in marriage exactly 10 years later on February 3, 2000. They shared a beautiful life together before his passing in 2022.

Tammy was a self-proclaimed “Jill of all trades,” handyman and musician who ended up working at Marshalltown Company. She loved to dance and have a good time, and she was an avid Hawkeye fan. Tammy adored her kids and grandkids, and cherished spending time with her family, “even though they drove her crazy.”

Her spunky demeanor and fierce love will live on in every person who had the pleasure of knowing her, including her children: Samantha (Jason) Bogue, son-in-law Rodney Sizemore, Courtney (Tyler) Schulmeister, Nichole Morrison, Katlyn (Alex) Morgan, Ashley (Tim) Bell and Christian (Haleigh) Morrison; grandchildren: Jordan, Dakota, Caleb, Landon, Lela, E’Lara, Sebastian, Easton, Kaden, Jay, Jemri, Luna, Jewel, Clara, Star, Christine and Maggie; her mom, Jane (Ron) Puls; brother Troy (Linda) Wilson; sister Jamie Wilson; brother-in-law Brad (Ashley) Morrison; lifelong friend Kim Morrison, and many friends near and far.

Tammy is preceded in death by her husband Chris, daughter Michelle, granddaughter Mila, father Jim Wilson Jr., infant sister Tina, mother-in-law Kathy (Darrell) Morrison/Peshel, father-in-law Jerry Morrison, maternal and paternal grandparents and several aunts and uncles.
