Ted graduated from SEMCO High School in 1969. After meeting the love of his life, Sandy Eibs, they were united in marriage on December 4, 1970 at the Gilman Christian Community Church. After they were united in marriage, Ted enlisted in the United States Marine Corps and honorably served his country. Together they made their home in Marshalltown, where they raised their children. Teddy worked hard to provide for his family. He was a supervisor in surveillance at Meskwaki Bingo Casino and Hotel and a truck driver for many years. In his free time, he loved spending time outdoors: gardening, hunting and more than anything else, fishing. Many fond memories were created around fishing as a family, including many weekends with the kids, vacations, boating and taking the grandkids to Green Castle. He also loved telling jokes, cheering for the Iowa Hawkeyes and admiring old cars. Well-known for his piercing blue eyes, beautiful smile and ornery disposition. Though strong-willed, he loved his family deeply and will be missed by all those who knew him. Left to cherish his memory include his wife of 51 years, Sandy; his children: Clint Walker, Angie Walker (DJ Cobb) and Joni Walker Harmon; 11 grandchildren: Trent, Mercedes, Kaylee, Brilyn, Gracee, Alex, Nathan, Zoe, Noah, Lane and Levi; 2 step-grandchildren: Bella and Dakota Cobb; 6 great-grandchildren: Carter, Paxton, Winter, Bristol, Faye and Elijah; his siblings: Peggy (Steve) Ronk, Deanna (Bill) Kacer and Craig (Justin) Walker; brothers-in-law: Jim Allgood and Richard Bailey and many nieces, nephews and cousins. In eternal life, Ted is reunited with his parents, Wendell and Clara; his daughter, Stephanie Walker; great-granddaughter, Liberty Walker; his sisters: Mary Bailey and Dixie Allgood; his grandparents and several other relatives.
