Terry Nelson

Terry Nelson, 77 of Englewood, Colorado, formerly of Marshalltown, Iowa passed away Monday June 10th at Swedish Hospital in Englewood, Colorado.

Per Terry’s wishes and his family, cremation have been accorded. Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Saturday, July 20, 2024, from 3:00 P.M. to 5:00 P.M. at Mitchell Family Funeral Home. Terry was born December 27, 1946, in Newton, Iowa. The son of Leroy and Pauline Nelson. He married Janet Cannon on June 17, 1989. He was an electrician earlier in life, and later became a worker at Lennox Industries in Marshalltown, Iowa for 31 years and retired in 2015. After retirement Terry and Janet moved to Colorado in 2016 following their grandson being born.

Survivors include his wife Janet, Daughter Jamie St.Clair & Grandson Verlyn St.Clair III, his sister Kathy Muenzenmeyer, and 3 nieces; Melissa Muenzenmeyer of Marshalltown, Mariah (Jeff) Simpson of Newton, and Michelle (James) Fortner of Nevada.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Tim Nelson.
