Wade Charlie Glenn, 46, passed away suddenly on Saturday, January 24, 2015. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 29, 2015, at the Mitchell Family Funeral Home in Marshalltown where the family will greet friends one hour prior to services. Interment with military honors will be presented by the Harry C. Harter Veterans of Foreign Wars Post #839 and American Legion Frank Lewis Glick Post #46 of Marshalltown. After graduating from high school, he enlisted in the U.S. Army and honorably served his country for nine years. Charlie worked at Lennox for several years and later at John Deere as a welder. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and riding his 1989 Harley Springer Softail. Left to cherish his memory is his mother, Alberta Woody Glenn; sister, Wendy (Charles H.) Siefken; niece, Angel Siefken (Kelly Jensen); nephews, James P. Siefken, and Charles A. Siefken; and his best friend, Scott Danner. In death, Charlie rejoins his grandparents, Clinton Snow Glenn and Beatrice Maxine Glenn.
