William O. Bill Stackhouse, 55, of Marshalltown, died Monday, January 18, 2010, at MMSC.Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 23, 2010, at Mitchell Family Funeral Home in Marshalltown. He was the son of Marvin and Shirley (Thorpe) Stackhouse. Later, his father was married to Francis and she became his stepmom. Bill attended school in Marshalltown and had lived in the Albion and Marshalltown area for his entire life. He married Kathy Mills and they later divorced. On January 15, 1993, Bill married Kathleen Zeran at the Chapel of Love in Las Vegas. Bill had been employed at Lamperts, Harold Downs Construction, and worked for many years at Ron Fisher Furniture. He enjoyed watching John Wayne movies, watching Andy Griffith and Tru TV, was a fisherman, and loved being outdoors duck and pheasant hunting. Bill will be missed by his wife, Kathy, of Marshalltown; his children Corey (Nikki) Stackhouse of Cedar Rapids, and Josh (April) Stackhouse of Marion; his stepchildren Michelle Eberhart of Toledo, Barry (Cynthia) Eggers of Gladbrook, and Tammy (T.J.) Ellis of Marshalltown; histwelve grandchildren Brittany, KayLynn, Lacy, David, Amber, Megan, Justina, Austin, Trey, Dylan, Jacob and Kristina; his two great-grandchildren Nathaniel and Taylor; his father and stepmom Marvin and Francis Stackhouse of Amana; his siblings David Stackhouse of Marion, and Diane Bearden of Apex, NC; his stepsiblings Thea (Bob), Corlis (Mike), Lyla (Don) Crawford, and Melvin Crawford; many nieces and nephews, and his four-legged girlfriend, his cat Gracie.In death, Bill rejoins his mother, Shirley; his brother Chris Stackhouse; his stepbrothers George, Terry, and David; his stepsisters Connie and Bonnie; and his great-nephew Kevin Stackhouse Jr.
