Alex Runner, 22, of Marshalltown, died early Thursday morning, October 4th. Funeral services celebrating Alexs life will be held at 1:30 p.m. Monday, October 8th, at the Center Street Baptist Church with Pastor Hirsch Chizever officiating. Born on December 12th, 1984, at Camp Pendleton, San Diego, California, he was the son of Homer and Penny (Richeson) Levis. He received his education in Marshalltown and attended computer school in Phoenix. He was employed at Applebees and Tastee-Freeze and enjoyed hacky-sac, computers and computer games and golf. Left to mourn his loss are his parents: Penny and Homer Levis of Marshalltown, grandparents Sharon and Ronnie Richeson, sister Terria (Michael) Wilhelms of Marshalltown, brothers Tyson (Stefanie)Thompson of Marshalltown and Clinton Levis of Marshalltown, niece Jasmine Thompson and nephews Sev and Derek Wilhelms, and a host of friends. In death he was united with his grandparents Chloris and Bernard Levis.
