Alicia Faye Mehaffy

Alicia Faye Mehaffy (Woosley), 46 of Beaman, Iowa passed away peacefully surrounded by family and friends on Tuesday, May 6th, 2025. She was born in Des Moines, Iowa on March 23, 1979 to Calvin Woosley and Linda Woosley (Coleman). Alicia was a devoted co-parent, mother, daughter, sister, cousin, and friend to many. She loved music, butterflies, sunflowers, the church, her cats, and spending time with family. She always put others before herself and you could always depend on Alicia.

Left to carry her legacy is her three kids, Savanna, Kaleb, Liam; their father, Shaun; her mother and father; Calvin and Linda; her siblings, Dennis (Sharron), Shawnna, Kelly (Paul), Tony (Heather), Chad (Karen), BJ; in addition, she is cherished in memory by her many nieces and nephews. She also has a beloved cat named Louis left to mourn her.

On the Mehaffy side, her in-laws, she is carried in the hearts of the kids’ grandfather, Ray; her sister-in-law, Erin; and Erin’s three sons, Landon, Ethan, and Isaac.

Alicia is preceded in death by her grandparents, Irene Woosley, Ted Woosley, Russell Coleman, Alma Rogers (Coleman), and Richard Rogers; her mother-in-law, Velva Mehaffy; her sister-in-law, Victoria Anderson-Woosley; her cousins Jan Draper, Joe Woosley, and other family members.

A Celebration of Life for Alicia will be held on Saturday, May 10th, 2025 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., with a service beginning at 6:00 p.m. at the Mitchell Family Funeral Home in Marshalltown.
