Allison "Licha" Yanes

Allison “Licha” Renee Yanes, 32, of Alexandria, Minnesota, formerly of Marshalltown, Iowa, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, November 8, 2021 at M Health Fairview University of Minnesota Medical Center - East Bank Hospital in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Services for Licha will take place on Saturday, November 13 at 4:00 P.M. at the Mitchell Family Funeral Home in Marshalltown. Friends and family are also invited to attend a visitation held prior to the service beginning at 2:00 P.M. Memorials may be directed to the family. Licha grew up in Marshalltown and later relocated to Minnesota. She was blessed to meet the love of her life, Anton Bingham and together they spent several years before his untimely passing in 2017. Licha was an excellent cook and enjoyed taking selfies and photos of the beautiful dishes she prepared. She also loved listening to music and more than anything else, spending time with her family and her beloved cat, Boots. Those left to cherish her memory are her mother, Jayne Farfan; her father, Jose Yanes; her sisters: Laura Yanes, Helena Yanes and Rosivel Gomez; nephews: Ayden Yanes, Oscar Nuño, Edgar Gomez-Yanes and Ethan Gomez; niece, Emma Gomez and maternal grandparents: Larry and Ilene Pieters. She is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and second cousins. In death, she is reunited with her soulmate, Anton Bingham and their baby; her sister, Yanira Yanes and paternal grandparents: Carlos Reyes and Tiburcia Yanes.
