Amy Oderwald, 51, of Gladbrook, passed away on Wednesday, October 1, 2025 at UnityPoint-Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines.

Amy Oderwald was born on July 8, 1974 in Marshalltown. She was the daughter of Mark and Maria (Corwin) Oderwald. She had previously worked at Hach Chemical in Nevada and Meskwaki Casino. Amy enjoyed fishing, cooking steaks, hanging out with her cats and was just a friendly and good person. Amy would do anything for anyone and give the shirt off her back.

Amy is survived by her sister: Melaine Oderwald, her life partner, Bundy Good and life-long friend, Trisha Hansen, as well as many numerous family and friends.

Amy is preceded in death by her brother, Jerrad Oderwald, parents: Mark Oderwald and Maria Oderwald, uncles: Roger Oderwald, Daryl Hartman and David Corwin along with her cousin: Brenda Oderwald.
