Angel Avalos Ramirez, 5, gained his angel wings on Saturday, February 7, 2015, at home surrounded by his loving family and under the care of Iowa River Hospice. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, February 11, 2015, at St Marys Catholic Church in Marshalltown, Iowa. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 10, 2015, from 4:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the Mitchell Family Funeral Home in Marshalltown, Iowa. Angel Avalos Ramirez was born on May 27, 2009, in Marshalltown, Iowa; he was the son of Juan Avalos and Adriana Ramirez. He was a member of St Marys Catholic Church. Angel loved to be with his grandmother, Lupe, and always had a hug and kiss for others. He enjoyed playing with string and beads, always had time to tease and wrestle with his brothers, and loved his cereal and cookies. His tender smile and caring ways will be missed by many. Left to cherish his memory are his parents, Juan and Adriana, siblings, Juan and Carlos and his grandparents, Guadalupe and Ramiro Ramirez and Teresa and Raul Avalos.
