Angelita Navarro de Manzo, 64, of Marshalltown and formerly of San Pedro Cahro, Mexico, passed away on the evening of May 29, 2021 at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics surrounded by her family. Services for Angelita will be held on Monday, June 7, 2021 beginning at 10:00 at St. Francis of Assisi Parish: St. Mary Catholic Church. A visitation for family and friends will be held on Sunday, June 6, 2021 from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. at the Mitchell Family Funeral Home. Angelita Navarro was born February 23, 1957 to parents Pedro Navarro Vasquez and Margarita Flores Fuentes in San Pedro Cahro, Michoacan, Mexico. Angelia was united in marriage to her husband Jesus Manzo on June 29, 1991. They moved to Marshalltown, Iowa in 2003. The pair were blessed with their daughter Guadalupe whom they raised together. She took great care of her family and took pride in that job. In her free time, she loved being with her family, cooking, spending time with her granddaughter, and often had stated that she wanted to go back home. She was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Parish: St. Mary Catholic Church. Left to remember and cherish her memory are her husband of 29 years, Jesus Manzo; her daughter, Guadalupe Manzo Navarro; her granddaughter, Daleyza Mendoza; and seven siblings. She was preceded in death by her parents Pedro and Margarita. Angelica se caso con su esposo Jesús Manzo el 29 junio, 1991. Se mudaron a Marshalltown, Iowa en el 2003. Juntos fueron bendecidos con su hija Guadalupe al quien criaron juntos. Ella cuido muy bien de su familia y tomo mucho orgullo en ese trabajo. En su tiempo libre, le gustaba pasar tiempo con su familia, cocinar y pasar tiempo con su nieta, y muchas veces decía de regresar a su casa en México. Ella fue miembro de la Parroquia de San Francisco de Asís: Iglesia Católica Santa María.Quedan para recordar y apreciar su memoria su esposo de 29 años Jesús Manzo, su hija Guadalupe, su nieta Daleyza Mendoza y sus siete hermanos. En la muerte se une con sus padres Pedro y Margarita.
