Angie (Wignall) Ford, 47, of Montezuma, decided enough of this battling cancer stuff and left for a reunion party with those who have gone on before. She departed this life at her home on the evening of Thursday, March 31st, with her family at her side. A memorial service celebrating her life will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, April 4th, at the Mitchell Family Funeral Home in Marshalltown with visitation one-hour prior to the services. Memorials may be directed to her family. For condolences, please visit www.mitchellfh.com. Ph. 641-844-1234. Born on October 11th, 1968, in Marshalltown, she was the daughter of Harlan and Janice (Whitmore) Wignall. Even though she had many siblings, she was always her mothers favorite! She reminded them of this by claiming she was able to see her mom in Heaven first since she was her favorite! Angie went to school in Marshalltown and graduated from the Marshalltown High School in 1987, later receiving CNA training- a job she loved. She was a natural born care-giver, caring for her family and friends, and was always the life of the party. Life for her definitely changed for the better when she had grandchildren! Angie was united in marriage to Thomas Ford, and though their paths diverged, she had two precious sons, Tommy and Trae. About six years ago, she was blessed with Jack Forehand coming into her life and being there until her last breath. Left to cherish her memory are her sons- Tommy (Amanda) Ford and their daughter Aria of Toledo and Trae Ford and his son Tristan of Toledo; her faithful companion Jack Forehand of Montezuma; 10 siblings- Sabrina (Reid) Caudill of Shell Rock; Gary (Cindi) Wignall of Marion; Jorena (the late David) Vavra of Toledo; Doneta (Joe) Greigo of Hartman, Ark.; Mark (Deb) Albee of Marshalltown; Rhonda Albee of Mission, TX; Bruce B.J. (Stacy) Albee of Hartman, Ark.; Lana Clement (Doug McDonald) of Atkins, IA; Jack Magee of Hartman, TX and Jill Wignall of Marshalltown, as well as her lifelong best friend, Mary Newburg and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Angie is also remembered by her step-mother Caroline Wignall of Marshalltown. In death, she rejoins her mother, her father, her dad Roger Stonewall who raised her after his marriage to Janice, brothers in-law Danny Clement and David Vavra, niece Chrissy Yanda and other family members who rejoice in her arrival.
