Anita "Tiny" Pack

Anita Louise Pack, more affectionately known as “Tiny,” 83, of Marshalltown, passed away on Saturday, May 28, 2022 at Oakview Nursing Home in Conrad. Funeral services for Tiny will be held on Wednesday, June 1, 2022 at 10:30 a.m. at the Mitchell Family Funeral Home in Marshalltown. Visitation will be on Tuesday, May 31, 2022 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. also at the funeral home. Memorials may be directed to the family for designation at a later date. Born on June 3, 1938 in Estherville, Iowa, raised by mother, Lucille (Nelson) Land and step-father, Lawrence Land, along with father, Merle Rankin. Tiny worked dedicatedly throughout her life in many roles; most recently as an assistant city clerk in Melcher and previously worked for Hinky Dinky Grocery, Hy-Vee, and Drug Mart. Once retired, Tiny enjoyed playing cards, making ceramics, attending her grandchildren and great-grandchildren’s events, baking, and crocheting. Above all else, Tiny cherished the time she spent with her family; she was well-known for her infectious spirit and loving nature by all who knew her. Tiny is survived by her children: Kenny (Karen) Madison of Marshalltown, Kevin (Lynnette) Madison of Laurel, Kim (Jim) Wolf of Marshalltown, and Kelly (Melissa) Madison of LeGrand, grandchildren: Jason (Tiffany) Madison, Alisha (Tim Thomas) Neuroth, Kelcy Crane, Katy (Joe) Stonner, Kevin Madison Jr, Casey (Sierra) Madison, Cory (Taylor) Madison, Megan (Marc) Guthrie, Darci (Chris) Buffington, James (Brhee) Wolf, Austin (Veronique) Madison and Kenzie (Cole) Jansen. She is also survived by her brother-in-law, Dean Letze, sister-in-law, Linda Rankin, numerous nieces, nephews, great-grandchildren and one great-great granddaughter. Tiny was preceded in death by her father, Merle Rankin, step-father, Lawrence Land, mother Lucille Land, siblings: Bud (Lila) Rankin, Honey (Jim) Lau, Pat (Ronald) Lunn, Helen Letze, Jimmy Rankin and grandson-in-law, Braden Crane.
