Ann F. Creager, 97, of Marshalltown died Wednesday, June 9th, 2010 at Villa Del Sol. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Monday, June 14th at St. Marys Catholic Church with Fr. Jim Miller officiating. She will be laid to rest in Riverside Cemetery. Visitation will be at the Mitchell Family Funeral Home on Sunday from 4-6 p.m. with a rosary service at 6:00 p.m. Memorials may be directed to Anns family. Knoll on May 2nd, 1913, in Haverhill, she was the daughter Joseph and Anna (Dankbar) Knoll. She received her education in St. Joseph School in Haverhill. On May 4th, 1931, Ann was united in marriage to Hammond Creager at the Little Brown Church in Nashua. The couple made their home in Marshalltown, where they raised their two daughters. Ann was a homemaker, and had worked in the Marshalltown Medical and Surgical Center cafeteria. She also had worked at Smittys Bakery. Ann was a member of St. Marys Parish, St. Marys Altar and Rosary Society, various church study clubs, the Moose Lodge, the Eagles Lodge, and was a very active and dedicated volunteer for the Iowa Department of Human Services. Ann absolutely loved to play BINGO and cards. She also enjoyed camping and travel. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and continue to love her. Left to celebrate Anns life is her daughter Minnetta (George) Storjohann of Bandera, TX; her daughter Eileen Creager of Altoona, IA; her grandchildren: Kay Bell, John Storjohann and Lori Wall; her great-grandchildren: Rachelle and Melissa Storjohann, and Courtney Wall; as well as friends. In death, Ann has rejoined her parents, her husband Hammond (1963), her three brothers, and two sisters.
