Anna Suetterlin

Anna “Kat” Suetterlin, 46, of Marshalltown, Iowa, passed away suddenly on the evening of December 31, 2024 at Unity Point Health in Marshalltown.

Per Kat’s wishes, cremation rites have been accorded and no formal services will be planned at this time. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Kat’s name may be directed to Stead Children’s Hospital in Iowa City or to her family for a later designation. Anna Katherine Suetterlin was born March 24, 1978 in Spencer, Iowa. She was the only child born to Kenneth and Bonnie (Ingram) Suetterlin. She grew up in Spencer until age two before moving around. She spent her high school years in Crystal Lake where she graduated in the class of 1996. Kat came to Marshalltown in 2010 to be closer to her family. She worked most recently at the Bus Barn in Marshalltown where she met many great people and friends until she had to retire recently due to health issues. In her free time, she enjoyed making her own jewelry and listening to music. While growing up, she took music lessons and was into dancing.

Kat is survived by her mother, Bonnie Suetterlin alongside numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

She is preceded in death by her father, Kenneth Sutterlin and her paternal and maternal grandparents.
