Annabelle Wilkins

Annabelle Wilkins, 70, of Marshalltown, Iowa, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, October 3, 2019 at Mercy Medical Hospital in Des Moines, Iowa. Annabelle Stone was born on April 25, 1949 in Ottumwa, Iowa, the daughter of Edward and Annabelle (Brown) Stone.  She was raised and educated in the school districts where she graduated from Ottumwa High School.  Following her graduation, Annabelle went on to obtain her Nursing degree in Iowa City.  Annabelle was a hardworking woman, dedicating over 20 years of her working career with the Marshalltown Public Library.  Whether it was from a book you were checking out or enjoying a conversation with Annabelle, she certainty left her imprint with everyone she crossed paths with.Annabelle loved playing bingo, going to the casino, family BBQ’s, eating Chinese food, taking care of her plants, singing, dancing, making people smile and most importantly was spending quality time with her family and friends. Left to cherish her memory are her three children: Anthony Stone, Anita (Alex) Wright and Amy Arringdale; grandchildren: Jason Arringdale Jr., Anika, Alexis and Aliyah Wright; siblings: JoAnn Winston, Juanita Beamon, Robert Stone and Carolyn Nathaniel; as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents: Edward and Annabelle Stone; and great-uncle: Robert Brown.
