Annette Marie Fromm

Annette Marie (Rio) Fromm, 83, of Marshalltown, Iowa, died Wednesday, September 30, 2009, at her home in Marshalltown. Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 3, 2009, at 10:00 a.m. at the First Baptist Church in Marshalltown. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday, October 2, 2009 at the Mitchell Family Funeral Home in Marshalltown. Memorials may be directed to the family. Annette was born in New York City on June 21, 1926, and was educated in the area of her birth. She married Leo J. Fromm October 12, 1974 in Marshalltown where they had resided. Annette had worked for Fisher Governor and then retired from Iowa Veterans Home dietary department. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Marshalltown and belonged to the Builders Club and the Ladies Circle. Annette loved to travel even though she didnt get to do so often, enjoyed going out to eat, and loved to read, shop and entertain but will be remembered for her great cooking. Left to cherish Annettes memory are her children Dennis J. (Anne) Hubbard of Friendship, Tennessee, David L. (Sharlene) Hubbard of Parkersburg, Iowa and Deborah A. (Jon) Christensen of St Louis, Missouri, grandchildren; Matthew and Nicole, Hubbard, Mark, Paul and John Hubbard and Joy and Eric Christensen and several great-grandchildren. Annette was preceded in death by her beloved Husband Leo in February of this year.
