Annette Hilleman

Annette Hilleman, 73, left her earthly body and was taken in to Jesuss loving arms on January 7, 2017. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday January 11, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at the Mitchell Family Funeral Home with a public visitation held an hour before. Annette Hilleman was born on January 1, 1944 in State Center, Iowa to Arnold and Wilma Jean (Fettkether) Hilleman. Annette attended State Center High School with the class of 1962. In May 1961 Anne was in a car accident the night of her prom and was left with brain damage after a drunk driver hit the vehicle she was in. Before the accident Anne was a fantastic roller skater, swimmer, and loved spending time with her family and friends. Annes family would like to thank Carol Bristley and Carolyn DeVries for their loving care during her time at Southridge Specialty Care. Anne was greatly cared for 55 years and the family would like to express how grateful they are for the love that their family has been shown. Left to cherish Annes memory are her siblings: John (Vivian) Hilleman, Suzanne Ellis, Shirley (Chuck) Ballard, and Sharen (Larry) Benander, nieces and nephews: Tracy Ellis, Scott Ellis, Todd Ballard, Rod Ballard, Jodi Williams, Loren McKay, Mike Hilleman, and Michele Vanderhoff, and many great nieces and nephews. Anne is preceded in death by her parents Arnold and Wilma Jean, and brothers-in-laws Jim Ellis and James McKay.
