Anthony 'Tony' Vodochodsky

Anthony Allen Vodochodsky, 52, of Marshalltown, passed away on Friday, November 4, 2016 at University of Iowa Hospital and Clinics in Iowa City. Memorial services for Tony will be held on Tuesday, November 8, 2016 at 4:00 p.m. at the Mitchell Family Funeral Home in Marshalltown. Mitchell Family Funeral Home is caring for Tony and his family. Tony Vodochodsky was born on July 20, 1964 in Marshalltown to Dan and Jan Kadelka Vodochodsky. He graduated from Marshalltown High School. Tony had previously worked for the railroad. On October 13, 2006, Tony was united in marriage to Gerri Wood in Marshalltown. He enjoyed hanging out with family and friends, going to bon fires, taking cars apart and attempting to fix things. Tony is survived by his wife of 10 years, Gerri; children: Brandi Vodochodsky of Waterloo, Alicia Vodochodsky of Tama, Kristina (Kevin) Peak of Burlington, Rebecca (Juan) Martinez of Marshalltown, Torrie Vodochodsky of Marshalltown, Natasha (Cory) Williams of Newton and Heather (Anthony) West of Marshalltown; and his father, Dan (Janice) Vodochodsky. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren; siblings: Shane Charlton of Marshalltown, Terry (Channell) Charlton of Kansas City, Nick (April) Charlton of Texas, Dan Vodochodsky of Tama, Anita (Carl) of Tama and numerous, cousins, aunts, uncles and other family and friends.
