Antoinette S. Kelly, 84, of Marshalltown, died Saturday, November 7, 2009, at MMSC.Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, November 12th, 2009, at St. Marys Catholic Church. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to the Senior Citizens Center. She was the daughter of Pete and Ann (Van Lith) Spanjers. She went to school in Ortonville, Minnesota, and Duluth Central in Duluth, Minnesota. On September 2, 1950, Toni married William Kelly in Milbank, South Dakota.Toni worked for 35 years at Northwestern Bell, retiring in 1980. After retirement, she worked as a hostess at Stones Restaurant for 20 years until 2000. She was a member of St. Marys Catholic Church, Birthday Club, Telephone Pioneers, served as President of Elk Ladies, volunteered at the hospital in the gift shop, and was amember of various card clubs. She enjoyed her family, loved to watch her grandkids in activities, loved to read books and watch sports, and was a great cook and baker.She will be missed by her children, Patrick (Jody) Kelly of Storm Lake, Peter (Peg) Kelly of Marshalltown, Tom Kelly of Fremont, Wisconsin, and Mary (John) Fitzgerald of Marshalltown; her grandchildren, Megan, Elizabeth, Kristi, Melissa, Sam, Shannon, Sarah, Sean, and Kelly; her 11 great-grandchildren; and her brother, Leonard(Ruthie) Spanjers of Bayside, TX.In death, Toni has rejoined her parents, her husband, Bill, who died in 1980, her sister Betty Brown, and her brother, Peter Spanjers.
