Antonio Banderas Ramos, 65 of Marshalltown, Iowa passed away on Monday, April 27, 2015, at Mercy Hospital in Des Moines surrounded by his loving family. A funeral Mass will be at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, May 2, 2015, at St. Mary Catholic Church in Marshalltown, Iowa. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Friday, May 1, 2015, at the Mitchell Family Funeral Home in Marshalltown, Iowa. Memorials may be directed to the family to be designated at a later date. Antonio Banderas Ramos was born in Michoacan, Mexico on February 4, 1950; he was the son of Ablardo Banderas Herrera and Modesta Banderas Ramos, he attended school in Michoacan, Mexico. Antonio was united in marriage to Maria Banderas in Michoacan Mexico. They were blessed with 6 children, Magdalena, Modesta, Begonia, Antonia, Jasmine, and Christopher. On June 8 1998, Antonio was united in marriage to Imelda Ceballos in Michoacan, Mexico; they were blessed with 3 more children, Christain, Elizabeth and Gabby. They had lived in California until Antonios retirement and then moved to Marshalltown eight years ago, making it their home. Antonio had worked and retired from the State of California at the Lattermen Developmental Center in their floor care department, after they moved to Marshalltown, he worked for Service Master. He loved boxing and was an amateur boxer as a young man. He loved his garden and his family. He will be remembered as Mil Amores a thousand lovers. Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 17 years, Imelda of Marshalltown, Iowa. First wife, Maria Banderas , Children: Magdalena Banderas, Modesta Banderas, Begonia Banderas, Antonio Banderas, Jr. Jasmine Banderas, Christopher Banderas, Gabby Banderas, and Christian Banderas , his father, Ablardo, grandchildren, Lissette, Jonathan, Christian, Julian, Jovan, Nathan, Antonio III Jhalia, Breanna Destiny, Marissa, Yessenia, Ireland, Nicholas and Jacoby and a large extended family. In death Antonio rejoins his daughter, Elizabeth and Mother, Modesta.
