Arlene Jubeck

October 2, 1942 — January 17, 2024

Heaven received an angel. Arlene M. Jubeck, 81, passed away at home on January 17, 2024. Services for Arlene will be held on Wednesday, January 24, 2024 beginning at 12:00 P.M. at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in State Center, Iowa. A visitation for family and friends will be held one hour prior to services. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to St. Joseph Catholic Church. Arlene was born October 2, 1942 in Marshalltown, Iowa to William and Rita (Drummer) Jubeck. She was the oldest of their nine children. Arlene was a member of All Saints Catholic Church in Des Moines, Iowa. Her faith was the most important part of her life.


Arlene’s daughter Debra Ann, was born in 1964. She lived for just a few days and is buried in Pheonix, Arizona. Arlene Graduated from State Center High School in 1960, her classmate Linda Montgomery was her lifelong friend. They spent Tulip Time Festival together in 2023 and had so much fun and laughter. Arlene worked for the Telephone companies for over 30 years.


Arlene loved country music and attending concerts. Her favorite singers were Conway Twitty, Neil Diamond, Vince Gill, and the Oak Ridge Boys. She loved sports and cheered on the Yankees, the Iowa State Cyclones, and the Cubs. When younger, she followed West Marshall events, and enjoyed going out to eat and traveling. She sent cards to many family and friends over the years.


Left to cherish her memory are her siblings, Judy Briney, Linda Wignall, Barb Jubeck, Chuck Jubeck, Gary (Linda) Jubeck, Connie (Chuck) Kroeger, Pat (Jeff) O’Toole, and William (Karen) Jubeck and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.


In Eternal Life, Arlene is re-united with her parents William and Rita Jubeck, her daughter Debra Ann, Brothers-in-law Ivan Briney and Bob Wignall, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
