Barbara Ann Jubeck, 75, passed away at Iowa City Hospital on March 17, 2025. Services for Barbara will be held on March 22, 2025, beginning at 10:30 A.M. at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in State Center, Iowa. A visitation for family and friends will be held at 9:30 A.M. Barbara was born March 22, 1949, in Marshalltown, IA to William and Rita (Drummer) Jubeck. Barbara was a member of St. Mary’s/ St. Henry’s Catholic Churches. Barbara graduated from West Marshall High School in 1968. She worked for Cooper Manufacturing for many years in the office.
Barbara loved country music and attending concerts. Her favorite singers were Conway Twitty, Neil Diamond, Tim McGraw, and Barbara Mandrell. She loved to follow West Marshall in sports events with her sister, Arlene. Barbara and Arlene took many trips to Fanfare in Nashville, TN. Later on, they would go with Chuck and Linda and Bob to Branson, MO. She loved to do crafts and made many gifts for people she loved. She was a member of Kiwanis in Marshalltown.
Left to cherish her memory are her siblings, Judy Briney, Linda Wignall, Chuck Jubeck, Gary (Linda) Jubeck, Connie (Chuck) Kroeger, Pat (Jeff) O’Toole, and William (Karen) Jubeck, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In eternal life, Barbara is re-united with her parents; William and Rita Jubeck, a sister Arlene Jubeck, Brothers-in-law; Ivan Briney and Bob Wignall, a niece Debra Jubeck, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Memorial donations may be directed to St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in State Center.
