Bernadion H “Bee” Coy, 94, was called home on Monday, August 12, 2019. Bee was born October 24, 1924, in Pershing, Iowa, to John Wesley and Frankie O’dell Turnipseed. Bee, a spunky, fun-loving young lady who always spoke up, was always on the go, and loved sweets, bacon and Chinese food, will be forever cherish by all who knew her. Bee is survived by grandchildren including Sadja Pals (Jon), Talitha Bihun, Seth Bihun (Shelly), Ryan P Bihun (Nicole), Jon C Bihun, Kari McKay; brother Bernard Turnipseed; great-grandchildren Jason, Ryan, Tyler, Veyla, Isabelle, Breanna, Rowan, Lila, Emma; daughters-in-law Laura, Virginia, Melania; and other loving family and friends. She was preceded in death by her son Curly Bihun. A special thanks goes to Bee’s loving community of caregivers and friends at the Iowa Veterans Home in Marshalltown. Bee had served in the Women’s Army Corps at the end of World War II. Following her career with the Internal Revenues Services in Des Moines, Iowa, Bee moved to Pensacola, Florida, where she was an active member of Brentwood Assembly of God, and devoted her attention to her youngest grandson. In 2014, Bee returned to Iowa to be close to family. Bee Coy’s graveside service will be 10 a.m., Friday, August 23, 2019, at the Pensacola Memorial Gardens and Funeral Home located at 7433 Pine Forest Road, Pensacola, Florida.
