Betty Duncan

Betty Louise Duncan (90), passed away on October 16th, 2015. A visitation will be held on October 25th, 2015 at 1:30 pm at the Mitchell Family Funeral Home. A memorial service will follow at 2:30pm. She was raised and educated in Marshalltown attending Marshalltown High School. On September 14th, 1956, Betty and Glen Kenny Duncan were united in marriage at the 1st Evangelical United Brethren Church parsonage in Marshalltown. She was an employee of Dr. Irvine and Dr. Collison, as well as Montgomery Ward and Spurgeons. She loved Crosswords, Crocheting, Hobby Shows, Collecting Betty Boop figurines, Meeting friends at the mall to have coffee and sitting in the garage with Kenny and passing the time with neighbors. Left to cherish her memory is her husband; Glen Kenneth Duncan, son; Troy (Cassie) Duncan, grandchildren; Alex and Bethany, sister in-law; Donna Stonewall and several nieces and nephews. In death, she rejoins her parents; Harry and Ina Allen, brother in-laws; Carl Duncan and Wife Lorrie, sister-in-law Lamoille Kinney and Husband, Cecil Kinney, Wayne Stonewall and her beloved poodle; Ziggy.
