Betty Mull, 55, of Marshalltown, Iowa passed away on Sunday, September 22, 2019 at Accura Healthcare in Marshalltown with her family at her side. Per her wishes, cremation rites have been accorded and no formal services are planned at this time. Memorials in Betty’s name may be directed to her family. Betty Ann Mull was born July 14, 1964 to parents Morris and Kathryn (Taft) Mull in Marshalltown, Iowa. She was one of six children born to the two. She grew up and attended school in the Marshalltown Community School District and graduated from Marshalltown High School in the class of 1982. She was never married. Betty worked as a CNA at the Veteran’s home in Marshalltown as well as Grandview Heights Nursing Home. She attended and was a member of First Friends Church in Marshalltown. In her free time, Betty enjoyed watching Dale Earnhardt Jr. in the NASCAR races, reading books, writing to her pen pals, and watching Iowa Hawkeye football. Left to cherish her memory are her siblings Pam Johnson, Darlene, and Myrna Mull. In death, she rejoins her parents Morris and Kathryn; sisters Claudette Tweed and Linda Krough; many aunts and uncles; and nephew Matthew Mull.
