Beverly "Bev" Pull

Beverly Pull, 84, of Marshalltown, passed away on September 8, 2019 at UnityPoint Health in Marshalltown. A memorial service will be held at the Mitchell Family Funeral Home on Thursday, September 12th, at 10:30 a.m. where Pastor John Whitehead will officiate. Beverly Rodale was born in Marshalltown on October 21, 1934 to Christian and Nellie (Seville) Rodale. She attended school in the Marshalltown school district, graduating in 1953. On June 28, 1953 she married the love of her life, Harold Pull. Together they raised three children. Bev worked for the Marshalltown School Food Service for 25 plus years, a job she enjoyed. In her free time she enjoyed puzzles, hand held games, crocheting, gardening, animals, and anytime spent with her family. Left to cherish her memory are her three children, Brad (Lohree) Pull, Diane (Steve) Hunter, and Jean Pease; grandchildren, Nic (Ginna) Randall, Dillon (Betsy) Randall, Luke Randall, Kelsey Pease and Kayleigh Pease; great-grandchildren, Myles, Kade, Eli, Henry, Kelcy, Parker and Derek; and her brothers, Robert (Gloria) Rodale and Roger (Holly) Rodale. Bev is preceded in death by her husband, Harold; parents, Christian and Nellie; and her four legged furry cat, Angel.
